Calling all Michael Jackson fans! We have all been doing such a great job spreading the word about The Michael Jackson Tribute Portrait. It can only happen if enough fans come together. The response has been absolutely amazing. Fans that know about this project are loving it. We just need to keep letting more fans know so they can be a part of the project with us. Michael would have loved to see all of his fans coming together like this.

INTERNET CONTEST
CONTEST:
We need 250,000 fans to vote for the The Michael Jackson Tribute Portrait before David Ilan can begin drawing. Help spread the word by linking to the website. The winner is the person who brings the most visitors to the site by noon (Pacific Standard Time) on August 15, 2009.
PRIZE:
At least 1,000,000 dots will be hand-drawn on the canvas to create the image of Michael Jackson. Each dot represents a Jackson fan. Michael Jackson, himself, will be given the first dot! As a winner of this contest, YOUR dot will be one of the first dots placed on the canvas and will be right next to Michael Jackson's dot. Your dot will be side-by-side with Michael's dot forever! Also, with your permission, we will announce your name on the website for millions of fans to see and graphically point out your dot's location.
The winners from all three contests will be judged and one of them will also be rewarded an exciting SURPRISE PRIZE. I will soon reveal what the prize is.
HOW TO ENTER:
Click here to register. An email will be sent to you, which will include a unique link to place into websites, emails, blogs, social networks, Twitter, and anywhere else you wish. You can place the same link into as many sites and emails as you like and the system will total all your visitors together.
RULES:
1) Links may not be placed in sites/forums/emails with inappropriate content. Remember you are representing a tribute to Michael Jackson.
2) Only unique visitors will be counted. In other words, if the same person clicks on the link more than once (or reloads the page), the system will just count the visitor once.
3) You may attach links to images (does not need to be in text form).
4) All visitors must be human; computer generated visitors will be detected and not allowed.
5) Visitors must click on the link to come to the site. No automatic pop-up windows.
TIPS:
Think about blogs and sites that get high amounts of traffic. You can use the link on Twitter and other social media sites. If you really want to win this contest, BE CREATIVE. The sites you choose for your unique link do not have to be related to Michael Jackson if you can think of a clever way to include your message. You can contact the site administrator to request a link (as a thank you, IF YOU WIN, they can be acknowledged on The Michael Jackson Tribute site along with your name).
