Calling all Michael Jackson fans! We have all been doing such a great job spreading the word about The Michael Jackson Tribute Portrait. It can only happen, though, if enough fans come together. Everyone who is participating in this project is loving playing an active role in the largest tribute in the world that puts the FANS in the spotlight. The response has been absolutely amazing. At this stage, we just need your help to keep letting more and more fans know about it so they can be part of the project with us. Michael would have loved to see all of his fans coming together like this.

CONTEST:
We need 250,000 fans to vote for the The Michael Jackson Tribute Portrait before David Ilan can begin drawing. Help spread the word by creating a YouTube video to promote the project. The winner is the person who has the most YouTube views by noon (Pacific Standard Time) on August 15, 2009.
PRIZE:
At least 1,000,000 dots will be hand-drawn on the canvas to create the image of Michael Jackson. Each dot represents a Jackson fan. Michael Jackson, himself, will be given the first dot! As a winner of this contest, YOUR dot will be one of the first dots placed on the canvas and will be right next to Michael Jackson's dot. Your dot will be side-by-side with Michael's dot forever! Also, with your permission, we will announce your name on the website for millions of fans to see and graphically point out your dot's location.
The winners from all three contests will be judged and one of them will also be rewarded an exciting SURPRISE PRIZE. I will soon reveal what the prize is.
HOW TO ENTER:
Simply make a video and upload it to YouTube. Send an email to info@SupportJacksonPortrait.com and paste in the url (link) that YouTube provided for the video. That's it.
RULES:
1) Your video must have "www.SupportJacksonPortrait.com" written or spoken at least once.
2) You may promote your video to get more viewers.
3) You may embed your video on other sites.
4) Winner is judged by number of views according to YouTube.
TIPS:
Be creative, out of the box, and even daring! Make your video STAND OUT. Do something fun, funny, crazy (just be safe) ... or you can do something from the heart. Whatever you think will make people want to watch and share it. Link your video on Facebook, MySpace and other sites to get your friends and others to watch and share.
